HANNA Instruments GROCHEK Meters
Provide continuous digital pH or EC scale read-out, designed to meet the needs of growers in greenhouses and hydroponic applications.  Completely sealed against vapors and humidity, so you can hang meter right above your sample to be tested for continuous measurement. Easy to clean and requires little maintenance.  Select your own set-point and be alerted of an abnormal situation with a flashing LED alarm. Unit runs without interruption on 12 VDC power supply.

The new Combo GRO’CHEK from Hanna has a dual-level backlit LCD to give you instantaneous readings of pH/EC/TDS and temperature. Simply install the meter above the reservoir and insert the electrodes into the solution for continuous readings. The microprocessor provides automatic calibration, automatic buffer selection, automatic temperature compensation, adjustable ß and adjustable TDS ratio. Measurements are defined as 700 ppm = 1 EC. Range of pH is 0-14 and ppm is 0-2000.

Hanna GroChek pH Meter
 Runs off a simple transformer. The electrode sits in your water or nutrient tank and provides real time pH monitoring. The HI 1286 gel-filled pH electrode is interchangeable and the BNC connector is protected behind a waterproof sheath.  The unique design of the electrode provides longer life in fertilizer solutions with high concentration of phosphate and nitrate.  The pH GroChek is also supplied with a differential input and HI 1283 stainless steel probe to prevent potential grounding problems and thus ensuring longer life for your electrode.  You can set your own set point and be alerted of an abnormal situation with a flashing LED alarm.  Measurements are highly accurate and the meter can be calibrated at one or two points.  Unit runs without interruption on 12 VDC power supply.

Meter comes with a probe that compensates for the temperature variation automatically.   The probe is easy to clean and requires little maintenance.  Measurements are highly accurate and the meters can be calibrated at one point.  In addition, the TDS GroChek uses a specially devised formula which perfectly reflects the needs of growers.  In fact, the common method of measuring TDS  by multiplying the conductivity by 0.5 which is far off the mark in horticulture with high concentrations of phosphate, nitrogen, etc.		 HY180

Provides continuous digital EC scale read-out. This scale is the international Electro Conductivity scale. No alarm light.  The EC scale is not linear to Parts Per Million. The new PPM meters for horticulture are being built to the specs of .7 to 1 or 700 PPM to 1 EC. For those who use the Conductivity Factor (CF) scale 1 EC = 10 CF. CF was created to eliminate tenths of an EC. Example: 1.5 EC = 15 CF. EC is multiplied by 10 to reference CF. 		HY1791
